Opening Harf Zimmermann
CHAUSSEE 36 PHOTOGRAPHY warmly thanks everyone who joined us on 30 April 2026 for the opening of “So, what have we got here? Photographs From Four Decades” by Harf Zimmermann during Gallery Weekend Berlin.
The evening brought together friends of CHAUSSEE 36, artists and visitors for an intimate and memorable gathering centered around Zimmermann’s remarkable photographic practice spanning 34 years of work.
A particular highlight of the night was the speeches held by Harf Zimmermann and curator Thilo Billmeier. They shared their thoughts with the audience on Zimmermann’s working process, on the unique aesthetic and temporality of the large-format photographs, and on their strong connection to the sites' history, inviting viewers to slow down and engage.
The exhibition remains on view until the 27th of June at CHAUSSEE 36 Photography, Berlin.
